Tria is on the run!
Tria Design & Marketing is a marketing partner with the 2005
Race for the Cure® in Greater Lansing. Organized by the Susan
G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation’s local organizing committee,
the 5K run/walk will kick-off Sunday, April 24th , 2005
at the State Capitol at 1pm.
Tria is an
official race info pick-up site, so if you want to walk with us,
or form your own team, you can get posters, information and race
event sign-up sheets at our office. Just ask us!
Tina Block designed this year’s partnership opportunities
sponsorship brochure, posters and race applications for the Greater
Lansing Race for the Cure®. We are delighted to partner with
the Komen Foundation on these projects, and welcome annual opportunities
to give back to the community. We’re pretty serious about
the giving back we do here at Tria; we consider it being a good
community partner to put our design talents to work for organizations
in need. Here’s a sampling of our activities this past year:
2003/2004
– Capital Area Humane Society – web
site design
2004 – Lance Armstrong Foundation – logo design for
Peloton Project ‘Tour de Road America,’ tee-shirt
design, and sponsorship kit.
2005 – Greater Lansing Race for the Cure® – all
promotional materials
2005 – Lance Armstrong Foundation – PelotonRide.org
for the Tour de Road America – web server space, advertising
design and sponsor banners.
Be
a hero at YOUR office, too!
If you run in the Komen Foundation, in your goodie bag, you’ll
find a coupon from Tria good toward your next design project.
We’ll donate 10% of your design fees to the Komen Foundation
in your company’s name. Or we can donate the 10% to the
Lance Armstrong Foundation for cancer survivorship.

Marketing
Tip for March:
Set up a blog for your business. What’s a blog? Short for
weblog, it’s an online daily journal that others can post
comments to. For our clients who want to communicate with clients,
a blog is a great tool that can be edited from any computer (from
a web browser). If you’re really savvy (and your clients
are too), you can put out a RSS (Real Simple Syndication) feed
and encourage your clients to use RSS readers instead!
Why blog? Simply put, it is an informal communication tool that
allows for interactive, casual dialog with clients. And that’s
the best kind of dialog for long-term relationship-building.
