Summer is busy for our clients.....and so is autumn.

Trade shows abound in June, new products are underway in the early fall and marketing is in full swing for 2005. This month’s tip is short & sweet.

Is your firm a brand- or customer-centric focused firm?

  • Brand-centric firms focus on what products they have and what markets they can sell those to?
  • Customer centric firms focus on their markets and ask "what do these people need" and match their stregnths as an organization into offering things that this market wants.
  • Brand centric firms push the same marketing message to each target market
  • Customer centric firms have different marketing messages that reach different markets

From "Integrated Marketing Communications" by Robert Lauterborn

Plan ahead!
If you have communications materials that need to hit your customers for the busy October through December holiday season, NOW is the time to begin those projects.

You can download our Marketing Project Planner (which figures out those dates for you automatically, depending on what type of project it is) for FREE at www.triadesignfirm.com/tips/

New Product Line Launch!
We have launched our own product line this year, the Artist Success Kit. Some years ago, Linda Brennan developed this unique record-keeping system for fine artists. We’ve beefed up the record-keeping kit, turned it into an electronic document, and are including marketing materials and tips for fine artists to promote their gallery showings and awards.

As most of you know, Tina and Linda are both award-winning fine artists, and Linda has worked to develop a system that is easy for artists to use and maintain. The new product line is available from the new web site www.artistsuccesskit.com. We have secure online ordering via the PayPal b-commerce system. If you know a fine artist who could use a better record keeping and inventory system or help with marketing, pass on our URL!

Coming next month:
A superb marketing case-study takes a charity bike ride from 0 to 100,000 web hits in 4 weeks using only press releases and web advertising.

And two more big announcements as well!
Watch your in-box for details!

Thinking of design & marketing night & day,
Your friends at Tria,
