Our Philosophy

At the start of every job, we ask a lot of questions so you can have better results. Our unique marketing-based methodology in design is a different approach. We stay in touch with clients after the sale and make sure you're able to implement and are seeing results from the projects we designed.

We believe that by our philosophy of planning ahead and managing projects more effectively we can all work fewer hours and take more vacations, which improves the creativity we can deliver and the attitude with which we deliver it.

Tria Design & Marketing Partners

Linda Brennan holds a Bachelor of Arts in graphic design from Michigan State University. At MSU she carried a dual major in advertising and graphic design, which afforded her a broad range of marketing & advertising skills. For several years, Linda was a graphic designer for Lansing Community College, then she joined the staff of the Michigan Education Association as their corporate graphic designer. Before cofounding Tria, she and Tina Block founded Abbi Creative, a design firm that served local, national and international clients for over ten years.

Gardening, genealogy, travel and fine art are among Linda's extra curricular activities. She is the past-president of the Mid-Michigan Art Guild and an award-winning fine artist; in her free time she creates works in watercolor and acrylics. She will tell you she's at stage seven of a six-stage disease called "Hosta Collecting," and her gardens and pond have been featured on several tours. (You might want to take a look at her Hosta Page and her garden page just for fun!) Linda's son is a network analyst and her daughter and son-in-law are veterinarians (ask her about her new grandson!). Her husband plays rhythm & blues harmonica and is an avid cyclist. Linda, her husband and their cat live in Lansing.

Tina Block earned her Associate Degree in Commercial Art from Lansing Community College and began her design career there. In this role, she designed promotional materials for the productions of the Art, Music, Dance and Theatre departments. After three years at LCC, Tina joined the staff of the Michigan House of Representatives, Speaker of the House, Communications Department as the senior graphic designer. She managed all aspects of their full-service graphic facility for the next nine years. She went on to cofound Abbi Creative.

Tina is a noted colored-pencil artist who has won numerous awards locally and regionally with her work. Tina is also very into gardening, as well as camping and travel with her family. Tina's family recently hosted a Japanese exchange student in their home, and in May, her fourteen-year-old son journeyed to Japan for an experience in that country. Both Tina's older son and her husband are musically inclined, her son playing guitar and her husband, the dulcimer. Tina and her family live in DeWitt.
